"
OLIVIA REIGNS IN SPAIN"

Northern Ireland Leisure Travel News - Nov 2004

SHE's a winner! Just days after scooping the award for the Northern Ireland
Travel and Tourism Personality of the Year, Portrush born Olivia Mullan has
pledged even greater support for Ulster travellers.

And yesterday she revealed that from next Easter, her company,
Teleticket/Servitour would be the only travel company operating from ALL THREE Northern Ireland airports.

Teleticket's first flight from Belfast City Airport will be to Malaga next Easter, but by then a full summer programme of flights from Belfast City will be in place.
"We are working on details of the programme at the moment," said Olivia,
"but we will definitely be flying from Belfast City for the first time in March.

"This means we will be reinforcing our aim of providing local flights
for local people."

Olivia, Commercial Director of Teleticket's parent company, Spanish tour giant Servitour, received the top Awards' accolade for her achievements in setting up direct services between the Province and Spain, aswell as for her considerable efforts in selling the Province to the Spanish travel trade.

The Awards citation, delivered by broadcasting legend Angela Rippon at the Slieve Donard gala, included the words: "a successful businesswoman in the travel industry abroad but also a great ambassador for Northern Ireland overseas".

Last month Teleticket/Servitour announced its first programme of flights to Malaga and Alicante from City of Derry Airport in addition to its services from Belfast International to Spanish destinations.

And in the first week of going on sale, 25 per cent of seats on the new City of Derry programme were snapped up by eager holidaymakers in the North West. Olivia added: "We will be promoting and marketing the North West region of Ireland to the Spanish market and hope to see up to 2,400 Spanish tourists and business travellers making the trip to the North West during the first
year."

Olivia confessed that he had the "best weekend of her life" following the Northern Ireland Travel and Tourism Awards gala. And she added: "Only in Northern Ireland could someone go from being a
comparitive unknown to winning such a prestigious award in just three years."
