"BTWShiells
gets its name in lights at Belfast Airport"
Business Telegraph - 7th March 2005
A
Belfast commercial property company is aiming directly at high flying investors.
BTWShiells has just signed a five-year marketing deal putting the company's
name on display at Belfast City Airport.
It is the first company in its sector to target both Belfast City and Belfast
International airports. Keith Shiells, chief executive of BTWShiells, said,
"The decision to invest in a five-year marketing campaign with both airports
was brought about by the success of the initial launch last year and the positive
results to date.
"The strategy behind utilising both Belfast City and International airports
was due to their key roles as the main gateways into the province. We wanted
to target key decision makers travelling in and out of Northern Ireland, particularly
those coming to source potential investment."
The firm's corporate communications manager, Andrew Park, who was responsible
for the implementation of the company's latest creative campaign, said:
"Even
though we are one of the largest commercial property operators on the island
of Ireland, it is still essential that we continue to build brand awareness.
"We are confident the company's substantial investment programme and
the implementation of out latest marketing campaign will contribute in no
small way to maintaining BTWShiells as a leading player within the commercial
property sector."
Brian Carlin, commercial manager at Belfast City Airport, said: "The
airport provides a superb opportunity to promote and hopefully influence the
many thousands of business people who travel to Belfast from many parts of
the UK, Europe and further a field."
